With the new data protection regulation GDPR entering into force on 25 May 2018, we would like to inform you about how we handle personal data and why.
Founders Loft's personal data policy describes what data we collect, for what purpose it is collected, how you can have control over your own data and how you can contact us. Our personal data policy applies when you send us an idea, have been accepted to one of our programs, contact us via email or phone and visit our website. It also applies if you are in our network, i.e. have been or are a potential target group, collaboration partner, contact person, invited to one of our events or for some other reason considered to be part of our Community. Founders Loft is responsible for personal data in accordance with these conditions and is responsible for processing in accordance with current legislation.
Founders Loft registers and handles personal data in connection with:

Founders Loft processes personal data mainly for the purposes stated below as well as for any additional purposes stated at the time of collection:

2. Enable good customer service, such as handling your requests, correcting incorrect information or sending information that you have requested, e.g. newsletter.

5. For system administration and to produce statistical data about our companies.
6. To send you information and marketing via e-mail or other digital means of contact such as e.g. social media as you have an active customer relationship with us.
7. To contact you by email or post about other offers, promotions or services that we think may be of interest to you (note that you can opt out of this marketing at any time).
8. To be able to provide you with relevant recommendations, offers and tips based on what we think may interest you.
Information that may be disclosed
We compile and provide statistics for the implementation of our mission to our financiers and, on request, also to authorities, such as Vinnova. In cases where we run projects, information about participating companies and related statistics may be provided to project financiers as required by financiers in accordance with funding requirements. In all handling of personal data, however, a high level of security and confidentiality is always observed.
Founders Loft aims to cooperate with partners who process personal data within the EU/EEA or with companies that maintain the same level of protection as within the EU/EEA
About cookies
When you use our website, it may happen that personal data is collected via e.g. cookies. However, this is only done via a separate consent. The information about your use and which pages are visited is then stored. This may be technical information about your device and internet connection such as operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies and unique identifiers. When visiting our websites where our services are provided, various technologies may be used to recognize you in order to learn more about our users and provide you with a better experience. This can be done directly or through the use of third-party technology.
Legal basis, storage and thinning of personal data
By submitting information to Founders Loft, you give your permission for Founders Loft to register, store information and process the specified personal data for specified purposes. As a legal basis for processing, Founders Loft will refer to fulfillment of contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest or consent. If Founders Loft uses legitimate interest as a basis, it will only do so for the purposes set out above. Please note that you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
The processing takes place in accordance with current legislation and means that personal data is not preserved for a longer period of time than is necessary with regard to the purposes of the processing. In practical terms, this means that information is thinned out when it is no longer relevant or necessary for our business or for the purposes for which it has been collected. Certain information can be kept longer when required due to other legal requirements, such as the Accounting Act. In all handling of personal data, however, a high level of security and confidentiality is always observed.
Your rights and choices
You have rights regarding your personal data and you have the opportunity to influence your information and what is saved. Founders Loft will, on its own or your initiative, correct information that is found to be incorrect. You can also request at any time that your data be deleted or that its use be restricted by contacting us. If you believe that your rights are not respected by us, you are welcome to contact us or you can contact the data inspection (datainspektionen@datainspektionen.se).
