Last year's winner of the Founders Challenge
- Rivus Batteries
Rivus Batteries, the deep-tech company developing organic flow batteries for large-scale energy storage, won last year's Founders Challenge and has since accomplished a lot while participating in the Founders Loft incubator program.
Rivus Batteries, led by Cedrik Wiberg and Andreas Kölling, have had a busy time during their tenure in the incubator. Not only have they raised half a million euros in capital, but they have also expanded their team with highly qualified new recruits, won Vinnova's pitch competition at Techarenan alongside impressive competitors such as Proligreen AB and GREEN14 - and furthermore, they have been selected as one of the 'Most Promising Energy Innovators for 2024' by the Free Electrons program!

Founders Challenge is our annual idea competition focusing on the Global Goals, aiming to find entrepreneurs who want to make a difference. This year, as we celebrate 25 years as an incubator, we want to advocate for the climate when we presented this year´s Founders Challenge together with our partner and main sponsor Qgroup.

An expert panel will assess the submitted entries. The Founders Challenge FINAL will take place on April 11, an event organized by us and our partner Qgroup and sponsored by Tullen and Almi.

The winner will be invited to lunch with Almi's CEO Christina Gehrke, where she will share her best leadership tips. After lunch, the winner will receive a company-specific evaluation of which of Almi's programs suits them best and continue with this with one of Almi's advisors.

Since 1999, Founders Loft has wholeheartedly supported entrepreneurs in transforming visionary ideas into successful companies, and last year we launched the Founders Challenge, where we received contributions to the competition that showcased fantastic entrepreneurial drive and quality. The winner was none other than Rivus Batteries.
