Matix is the master’s program that combines academic depth with business development in companies—enabling partner companies to gain an academic analysis of their operations. Now, four enthusiastic students from the program have joined the Founders Loft community.
Battery Company with Growth Potential
Hanna Falck is a Matix student who finds companies in an early growth phase very exciting, and she thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. That’s why she’s on-site in Mölndal, at the new premises of Rivus Batteries, a Founders Loft company. Rivus, which develops water-based organic electrolytes for flow batteries, is a company that has made significant progress on its journey.
"Matix focuses on creating, driving, and managing growth in companies of various sizes and at different stages. Initially, the program has focused on innovation, and the other key areas will be strategy and change management. I’m looking forward to connecting the theoretical parts with reality together with my partner company, Rivus Batteries!" says Hanna.
Win-Win for a Tech Company
Indra Friskytt, currently working with Substly, hopes her Matix internship will create a win-win situation for both herself and the company. She aims to contribute valuable perspectives and insights and, in return, gain the tools she needs to deepen her understanding of both entrepreneurship and the industry in which Substly operates.
"Through Matix, I have the privilege of spending the next eight months with Substly, based at Founders Loft. Substly offers a system that helps small and medium-sized businesses manage and optimize their subscription services and digital tools in the SaaS space. At Substly, I’ll have the chance to work on various business development projects to help the company move closer to its goals," says Indra.
Matched by Matix
Matix student Anna Ryberg was paired with Piffl, a company that offers a sharing service for outdoor activities through an app linked to a pink box placed at parks and recreational areas.
“In the program, the school pairs students with companies based partly on the company's needs but also on the student’s experience and interests. That’s how I ended up at Piffl. My goal is to grow in areas like business strategy and development!” says Anna.
To the Incubator for Real-World Experience
Wilhelm Warborn was drawn to the Matix program because of his desire for a practical, real-world education. He’ll be completing his Matix journey at Founders Loft and has already formed a positive impression of the incubator.
"My impression of Founders Loft is that it’s an exciting organization working with many driven entrepreneurs. Even though the companies offer different products, you can see a common thread in their dedication, which also shines through in Founders Loft as an organization!" says Wilhelm.
"My impression is that Founders Loft is very pleasant and relaxed, with amazing Thursday fika!" adds Anna Rydberg from Piffl.
“Founders Loft is a fantastic community for networking and gaining access to knowledge and experience for startups!” says Hanna Falck from Rivus.
“My impression of Founders Loft is that it’s an incubator based on solid values, offering a welcoming and inspiring work environment for companies looking to grow and develop. At the office, there’s support available, and the friendly culture encourages both innovation and entrepreneurship,” says Indra Friskytt from Substly.
A Warm Welcome from Founders Loft
We at Founders Loft are thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Matix so that more companies—and we ourselves—can grow alongside future business developers. We welcome these four with open arms and hope they’ll enjoy their time with us!
