Our alumni Joel Löwenberg wins E-com Brightest Star 2025 ✨

We feel an extra sense of pride when our alumni step into the spotlight and receive recognition for their work. This time it’s Joel Löwenberg, CEO of Gymkompaniet, who has been announced as the winner of E-com Brightest Star 2025 award, which was presented at Breakit’s E-com Day 24th of September.

The jury’s motivation for Joel’s nomination was:

“With a transparent and engaging approach, Joel Löwenberg shares his learnings, sparks new ideas, and creates engagement across the entire industry. Gymkompaniet is growing rapidly and has a strong focus on sustainability – for example, with gym flooring made from recycled tires. Joel’s leadership is characterized by his rare ability to combine expertise, humor, straightforwardness, and humility. He is successful without a trace of hubris, and inspires both colleagues and competitors to become better.”

Joel’s journey is a story of courage, curiosity, and a genuine desire to make a difference. From starting out in customer service to becoming the owner and leader of Gymkompaniet, he has step by step built something bigger than himself – and along the way, inspired other entrepreneurs to follow the path.
