the goals as a focus area, the incubator for 2023 has chosen goal number five;
Equality.
In 2022, Founders Loft achieved a 50/50 female/male founder distribution among our startups. The idea of annually identifying a goal from Agenda 2030, creating conditions and inspiration for entrepreneurship, has led to the "Founders Challenge" initiative. A competition where entrepreneurs can contribute to reaching the global goals, this year with business ideas that contribute to increased gender equality and win an entire business year with free coaching, office space and support in the incubator. Change requires new ways of thinking, we need behavioral changes and new social structures. Creating and running a company does not have to be about inventing an incomparable maniac, it means creating something that drives change. We need more entrepreneurs who are passionate about creating better conditions in society. We need more people who want to build companies where the focus is on creating good conditions for employees, customers but also take into account what they contribute to society.
Competition criteria:
1. You have a business idea that solves one of the sub-goals in goal 5 -
equality.
2. Your business idea is sustainable, scalable and innovative
3. Your business idea has the potential to affect many people's lives
Jury and the win
A panel consisting of investors, entrepreneurs and experts will assess the various business ideas and the winner will receive 1 year of free coaching and office space in the Founders Lofts Co-working space, access to meeting rooms, mentors and inspiring events - everything for the entrepreneur to be able to implement their business idea. The world wins if you win. This is what Founders Loft calls #SuccessTogether
